- Visit some of our heritage sites
Meath is known as the birthplace of Ireland’s Ancient East. There are 5000 years of history here and so many historical sites and landscapes to discover. Take a trek up to Loughcrew Cairns, the highest point in County Meath. Visit Trim Castle and Bective Abbey (Where Braveheart was filmed). Or discover the Hill of Ward- where Halloween began.
